Mind's eye encased in a cubical society, bursting out with inspiration and hope.

“MIND’S EYE II”

48” x 48”

Mixed Media on Paint Skin Canvas

This piece represents my mind, trying to fit in places where it doesn’t.

I’m sure we all feel like this, especially with today’s society, the idea of “humanity” can be highly questioned, if measured against morals and intentions.

With this piece, I’m trying to explain the beauty inside our mind, and our imagination, encased in a world that doesn’t seem to fit who we are, yet we are still hopeful and colorful that things will get better.

THE RICHEST MAN

36" x 36"

Oil on Paint Skin Canvas

This work is a reminder of what is really important in life. Some people who chase riches, end up isolating themselves because they find it hard to trust anyone. Alone in their own mountain of gold. The sky and water are fading and cracking, showing that this is now and old forgotten priority.

It’s not about being rich, it’s about being rich enough inside, to be able to participate in the world with the full weight of who we are.

BREAKTHROUGH

36" x 36" ♦️

Sculpture on Paint Skin Canvas

The central face -sculpted from solid layers of poured, sun dried paint- pushes outward, caught in the act of emerging.

The burst-like form around the face is shaped like the sun, symbolizing ignition, awareness, and awakening.

Breakthrough us about the moment we break free from limitation -not with a scream, but with steady force. A rising. A decision to come forward.

Everything in this piece including the "canvas" is made of paint.

BETTER THAN TAPE

48" x 48"

Mixed Media over Paint Skin Canvas

This piece is both a wink and a critique, a  response to the viral banana duct-taped to a wall that challenged the art world.

Instead of tape, this piece offers an elegant and excessive golden cage with the bananas are framed as something precious.

This work plays with the absurdity of value.

Is it commentary? Is it comedy?

Is it more “art” now that it’s gilded?

Or less, because it’s trying too hard to say something?
